Your new company

A large manufacturing business based in Quinton Birmingham is currently recruiting for a new credit controller to to join their well established and growing credit team. Reporting to the Credit Manager and in a team of 6 credit controllers, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger of 600 accounts.

Your new role

• Ensuring timely payment of debts within agreed terms to limit credit exposure to customers.
• Liaising with customers over the phone and email to ensure payments are paid on time.
• Responding to relevant client enquiries regarding invoices / settlement of accounts.
• Analyse and monitor debtors, ensuring prompt action is taken for non-payment and overdue debts.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a credit control role

• Time management skills to effectively prioritise, manage, and direct team.

• IT skills (Excel, Outlook and Word).

• Proven track record of achieving KPI’s

• Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of communications skills, with the ability to identify the optimum communication channel.
