Your new role
As a valued member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
Efficiently processing all customer cash receipts with precision and timeliness.
Managing a designated portion of the debt ledger, ensuring customers adhere to their agreed payment terms.
Collaborating closely with the Customer Services team to address held orders due to credit limit issues or overdue debts.
Proactively resolving queries related to price discrepancies and quantity disputes, escalating when necessary.
Coordinating with relevant teams to handle the aforementioned queries within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and providing status reports as needed.
Maintaining daily communication with customers to ensure prompt payments and resolution of any queries.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in credit control or administration, or a degree in finance or business. They should excel in fast-paced, complex environments, have strong problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to be flexible and adaptable are essential.
