Credit Controller | Blackburn | 6 month FTC to perm | £28k

A well-established business based in Blackburn are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary/full-time basis, which could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Currently reporting a financial turnover of over £140million, this organisation has quadrupled in size over the past 7 years and have further plans to double their turnover in the next 3–5 years. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, secure business who have a number of employees exceeding 5+ years tenure.
Your new role
In your new role as Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing your own aged debt ledger, by chasing customers daily, running reports on the ERP system and posting receipts and allocation of payments. Your role will also involve reconciling accounts, managing and resolving any customer queries whilst working closely with managers to update the aged debt reports. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times between 7:30am-5:00pm.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role, experience of working in a busy and fast-paced Credit position previously would be essential, with the ability to manage your own debt ledger. You must be a great communicator, with an ability to build strong relationships to effectively chase debt and reduce the volume of outstanding cash. No qualifications needed
