Accounts Admin - Belfast - Immediate Start

Your new company

Hays Accountancy and Finance are working to support a Belfast based company to support their dynamic team throughout year end.

Your new role

1.Financial Record Keeping:
•Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
•Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
•Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
2.Budgeting and Reporting:
•Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
•Generate financial reports and statements.
•Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances.
3.Compliance and Audits:
•Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
•Assist with internal and external audits.
•Maintain documentation for audit purposes.
4.Administrative Support:
•Provide administrative support to the finance team.
•Manage office supplies and equipment.
•Handle correspondence and communication related to financial matters.
5.Customer and Vendor Relations:
•Communicate with customers and vendors regarding financial transactions.
•Resolve any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
•Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
6.System Management:
•Use accounting software and tools to manage financial data.
•Ensure data integrity and security.
•Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an Accounts admin you will require the following:
•Mathematical Proficiency: Strong mathematical skills to handle financial calculations and manage budgets
•Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial records and transactions
•Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and maintain organised records
•Communication Skills: Effective communication for handling correspondence and working with other departments
•Problem-Solving: Ability to address financial discrepancies and irregularities
•Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
•Financial Record Management: Experience in maintaining and updating financial records
•Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handling invoices, payments, and tracking receivables
•Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements and reports
