Job Title: Data Administrator | Temporary

Job Summary:

You will be part of a small team in the wider organisation, responsible for the development of institutional policy and driving evidence-informed performance enhancement. We are seeking a dedicated Data Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for administering evaluation surveys, supporting the analytical process, and engaging in market research activities. This role involves close collaboration with academic schools, departments, and colleagues across the Strategic Planning Team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate student evaluation activities across the organisation in collaboration with the Policy and Planning Manager.
2. Serve as the first point of contact for different departments and professional services for the deployment questionnaires and ad-hoc pulse surveys.
3. Support the Strategic Planning Data Team in collating insights and information on internal data related to evaluations.
4. Handle ad-hoc data requests from departments, including the preparation of routine reports on students and courses.
5. Develop a working understanding of the organisations business intelligence dashboards (Qlik) and other data sources to prepare engaging, accessible reports for non-data experts.

Job Scope:


1. Planning and Organising:
Objectives will be agreed upon with the Policy and Planning Manager. The postholder is expected to organise their own workload in the short-to-medium term and prioritise tasks to meet agreed targets and turnaround times.
2. Decision Making:
Provide data insights on student feedback to support planning and decision-making processes throughout the organisation.
3. Working Relationships:
Work closely with the Policy and Planning Manager to agree on priorities and support other members of the Strategic Planning Team as necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues in schools and departments to provide specialist/technical advice and recommendations to inform decision-making.
