Design and Technology Teacher
QTS Required
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Design and Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop practical skills and a lifelong interest in design and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Setting and marking work to a high standard
- Encouraging creativity and problem-solving skills
- Building strong relationships with students and parents
- Contributing to the overall life of the school
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Design and Technology or a related subject
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young people
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of industry-standard design processes
- Experience with a range of materials and techniques
