My client is a leading UK distributor of industrial products. They pride themselves on delivering expert knowledge, exceptional customer service, and the latest technology to support their clients across a wide range of industries. They are seeking a proactive Digital Website Marketing Specialist to help develop and grow their website, increase engagement, and drive traffic through data-led decision-making.
Role Overview
As a Digital Website Marketing Specialist, you will take ownership of key aspects of the website – including building and managing product pages, developing engaging and optimised content, and using web analytics tools to improve performance.
Your work will directly support lead generation, brand visibility, and the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Website content & product pages
- Create and manage product listings and web pages
- Write clear, engaging copy for technical products and solutions
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product data is consistent and compelling
- Content strategy & SEO
- Develop and maintain content such as blog posts, landing pages, and case studies to support marketing campaigns and boost SEO
- Apply on-page SEO best practices including meta titles/descriptions, keyword usage, internal linking, and image optimisation
- Performance monitoring & analytics
- Use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track site performance, user behaviour, and keyword rankings
- Identify underperforming pages and implement changes to increase engagement
- Provide regular reports and insights to the wider team
- Suggest and implement improvements to site navigation, layout, and content
- Support A/B testing and other optimisation activities
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and IT teams to align web content with wider digital campaigns
- Assist in integrating the website with email, PPC, and social media activity to support consistent messaging and tracking
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a digital marketing, website content, or similar role
- Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, OpenCart, custom CMS)
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO principles and content strategy
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO/keyword tools
- Ability to write clear, persuasive, and technically accurate content
- An analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience working with B2B or technical product websites is highly desirable.
