Job Title: DT Teacher (BTEC Engineering)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £120 - £250 per day. Dependent on experience.
Contract Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Start Date: Immediately

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality DT education to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love DT.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience teaching BTEC Engineering at secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for DT and Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
