Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Plan, prepare, and evaluate teaching materials and assessments to ensure they meet curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them achieve academic and personal success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Humanities or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
