Permanent Senior QS role for main contractor on projects across Norfolk and Cambridge

Your new role

You will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and payments.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures and variations.
  • Provide accurate and timely cost advice to project teams and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
