Finance Assistant - Gravesend

An independent business within the construction industry are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their accounts team. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial operations.Your new role
- Processing invoices onto the ledger
- Checking invoices against statements and chasing for missing invoices
- Processing the monthly payment run
- Reconciling the credit card, PayPal, and cash book to bank statements
- Preparing and analysing management accounts
- Providing sales ledger holiday cover on an ad hoc basis
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchase ledger
- Knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to solve queries and be flexible in approach
- Capability to work independently and use own initiative
