Your new role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you’ll act as a trusted business partner, delivering high-quality financial insight and challenge to drive performance, efficiency, and profitability. With a strong focus on data-driven decision support, cost control, and strategic planning, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely and accurate financial analysis to support decision-making across operational teams
  • Identifying cost drivers, production variances, and KPI trends to highlight risks and opportunities
  • Leading product and customer profitability analysis to support margin improvement
  • Partnering with department heads to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis
  • Driving cost control initiatives across manufacturing and non-manufacturing overheads
  • Developing dashboards and performance metrics to track and benchmark results
  • Contributing to strategic projects including ERP upgrades, process automation, and M&A activity

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience
  • Proven experience in a commercially focused finance role, ideally within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and financial modelling expertise
  • Ability to extract, transform, and analyse complex datasets to deliver actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior levels
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration

What you'll get in return

This is a high-impact role offering significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making.

You’ll join a forward-thinking business during an exciting period of transformation, with opportunities to shape processes, systems, and performance outcomes.

A competitive salary, benefits package, and career development prospects are also on offer.
