Your new role
- Support the team with financial and commercial insights.
- Provide advice to help make financial decisions.
- Report and explain total operating costs and revenue.
- Collaborate with different teams to share financial insights for better decision-making.
- Handle monthly financial reports, future forecasts, and medium-term planning for Northern Ireland's costs and revenue.
- Link operational metrics to financial performance, spot risks and opportunities, and create improvement plans.
- Manage costs related to labour, energy, marketing, fleet, fuel, supply chain, and more.
- Analyse budget vs. actual revenue performance, maintain financial accountability and control, and identify revenue trends.
- Work with commercial and planning teams to identify risks and opportunities and make sound commercial decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Fully qualified accountant or further qualification to support specialism.
- The ability to utilise data, analysis, and insights to drive business performance.
- Collaborative team player with strong leadership skills, balancing support and accountability.
- Proven experience to plan, facilitate, and complete finance programs.
- Lead and manage conflicting priorities to ensure successful delivery of key finance programs.
- Set agendas, identify opportunities, and uphold best practices in finance.
