Your new company

An engineering company that operates within multiple markets is looking to hire a Finance Analyst/Manager to add value and insight into the overall forecasting, modelling, and reporting of the business. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will be working on a full-time, hybrid basis.

Your new role

Reporting to the senior finance manager, your role will include duties such as:

• Producing financial reports on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Analysing data from finance and operational systems
• Prepare monthly accruals.
• Identify areas to improve processes and reporting
• Drive cost-saving initiatives
• Support in implementing improvements in forecasting and reporting
• Produce standard financial deliverables
• Report performance against plans and forecasts

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience in a similar role previously, as well as to be a qualified accountant. With the role being so commercial, you will have strong analytical skills with knowledge of how to drive the organisation forward. The organisation uses bespoke systems. However, strong, excellent skills are essential. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills due to the engagement you will have with stakeholders. It would be desirable to have experience working in an organisation that is within a similar industry and is publicly listed.
