Financial Controller - Belfast - Temporary Contract

Hays Accountancy and Finance are currently seeking a Financial Controller for our client on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting management accounts, developing budgets, and conducting financial analysis

Your new role

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly management accounts.
• Develop annual budgets and conduct weekly forecasting.
• Provide detailed reports and comments on variance analysis.
• Perform gross margin analysis.
• Maintain strict control over costs and credit.
• Supervise the local administrative team.
• Compile annual statutory accounts.
• Conduct financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
• Assist the managing director with comprehensive financial analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in data analysis and clear presentation of results.
• Strong technical grasp of accounting standards.
• Excellent command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
