A fast-growing sports publishing business in London is hiring a Financial Controller to join during an exciting period of growth. The company is looking to raise funding over the next few years. As such, they are looking for a qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA person to join their team and support them through this period. This is a sole-charge finance position and will work alongside the senior leadership team.

Your new role

This is a broad all-encompassing finance position reporting to the Managing Director. You will take on an A-Z role which will require you to support with cash-flow management, preparation of management accounts, finance operations and guiding the business as it grows with finance related queries. The company uses Xero and as they expand will look to ensure all processes run smoothly and are open to new system and software integrations.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA / CIMA / ACCA qualified

• If, from practice, experience with accounts preparation will be desired

• Ability to work and influence non-finance

• Motivation to work in a start-up
