About the Role:
Hays Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Design Technology (DT) and Food & Nutrition teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Newcastle on a supply basis. This role involves teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring they receive high-quality education and support in these subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in DT and Food & Nutrition.
- Plan and prepare lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching DT and Food & Nutrition at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
