Your new role
This role will support large-scale business-led change and finance transformation initiatives that are crucial for strategic growth. You will be at the forefront of providing a robust control environment, enabling the business to achieve higher levels of efficiency while minimising risk. You will have autonomy to work with a vast number of business units to drive meaningful change in a variety of ways, working in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Provide support to identify opportunities to drive improvements in the control environment, leveraging the planned change activity.
- Support the design and implementation of controls and integration into planned process improvements.
- Support the identification of risks associated with change delivery and design of mitigating activities.
- Support and challenge through the various stages of change delivery, including testing and business readiness activity.
- Provide input and support on the design and implementation of an overarching framework for supporting finance colleagues assess and address risk and controls through change delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, ideally from a Top 10 firm and have a strong grounding in audit, risk and financial controls. You will have experience in improving financial control processes or delivering outcomes to reduce risk. You will have strong financial reporting skills within the insurance industry. You will have an affinity for the utilisation of new technologies that could benefit or enhance a business process, and be open to the positive elements and pitfalls of using such tools. You will have excellent communication ability and be able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of business to drive operational change.
