Senior HR Advisor opportunity to join a busy HR team on the Isle of Wight

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join a proactive HR team on the Isle of Wight.

As a Senior HR Advisor you will play a pivotal role in all aspects of HR, employer relations and staff development initiatives.
Key Duties
  • Leading employee relations cases include grievances, disciplinary, performance, dismissal, sickness,
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures,
  • Designing and delivering management development training programs, and leading the organisation, planning, and management of our staff development and corporate induction days.
  • Provide professional HR support to the managers and employees, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Deliver timely and responsive HR services, particularly in employee relations and resourcing.
  • Advise managers on HR issues, including sickness absence and employment law.
  • Lead HR initiatives across workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, and more.
  • Support job evaluation exercises and enhance employee engagement through feedback and surveys.
  • Deputise for the Head of HR on day-to-day matters and support staff development initiatives.
Candidates
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor with a full background of HR generalist and employer relations.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified ideally
  • Experience in HR policy development, employee relations, and staff development, or have equivalent recognised HR generalist experience at a senior level.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to promoting equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
The role is based on site in the office.
