Data Analyst Contract Job - £400 to £450 per day

Your new company

Our client is seeking a skilled Data Management and Governance Specialist to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. They are focused on implementing robust data management and governance solutions to ensure data quality and compliance across the organisation. Having just moved into a brand-new state-of-the-art city centre office and with a large project pipeline, this is a great time to get involved.

Your new role

  • Develop and implement data management and governance solutions as part of the data lifecycle management, data quality management, and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with solution designers and engineers to ensure the effective implementation of data management solutions.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to manage and execute data lifecycle rules.
  • Identify and address data quality issues to ensure data integrity.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in the field of data management and governance.
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Experian’s Aperture, MS Purview).
  • Familiarity with data processing and analysis languages such as SQL, Python, R.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

What you'll get in return

This is a day-rate contract role, paying up to £450 per day depending on experience. There is a good chance of further long-term extensions. The organisation can offer hybrid working split between home and their new Glasgow office.
