Conveyancing Legal Assistant/ Administrator

Working for a hugely successful south west law firm in their Taunton office.

This role is full time permanent Monday - Friday - 36.25 hours per week.

Your new role
As a Conveyancing Assistant/ Administrator you will support the relevant team and provide individuals and businesses with a first-class service in a wide range of conveyancing transactions.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Be a part of a market leading team which spans a multitude of different specialisms.
  • Have the opportunity to grow your conveyancing career.
  • Manage caseloads and provide crucial administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide individuals and businesses with a first-class service in a wide range of conveyancing transactions.
  • Provide a high-level support service for the team, by helping it meet its overall targets.
  • Amend and collate letters with enclosures adhering to deadlines and securing appropriate sign offs from relevant Lawyers.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and third parties, promptly addressing correspondence, calls, and emails.
  • Work alongside Conveyancers and members of the wider Real Estate Group.
  • Handle various post-completion tasks, progressively taking on more responsibility for deadlines

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working within conveyancing and an understanding of conveyancing procedures (minimum 6 months - 1 year)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately, meeting the needs of assigned lawyers.
  • Commitment to working within a quality standard environment.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Desire to work in an interesting, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
