A hybrid 12-month FTC opportunity for an IT Project Manager in Cambridgeshire or Norfolk

I am excited to be partnering with an organisation who are looking to engage an IT Project Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, working on a hybrid basis with flexibility around days in the office (e.g. from 1+ days per week in either Peterborough or Norwich).
As the IT Project Manager, your role will be to drive successful change by leading projects within the organisation, initially focussing on the implementation of a new ERP across the HR function, including HCM (Human Capital Management) and payroll, followed by recruitment, expenses, etc.
You will have experience working as an IT Project Manager and hands-on delivery of ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Sage HR, Workday, etc).
This role is paying up to £50,000 per annum on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

Your New Role
As the successful applicant to this job opportunity, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within agreed cost, scope, and timelines
- Reporting to the IT Service Manager, you will collaborate with Change Managers, the Data and Information Manager, and program and project support staff.
- The initiation, development, governance and management of technical change projects (ERP within HR).
- The production of realistic deliverable plans, management of budget and resources.
- Formation, management and leadership of project teams as required (Business Analysts, Project Coordinators, suppliers, etc.).
- The project IT roadmap and ensuring matrix resources have the correct leadership, direction, and governance to be delivered.
- Developing team culture to motivate and inspire collectives and individuals.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience delivering ERP projects, ideally within a HR setting from an IT perspective.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products including M365 and Azure.
- The ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels and to empathise with challenges.
- An understanding of how the project will integrate with and impact the wider business.
- Experience contributing towards programme planning and budgeting.
- APM or Prince2 qualification.

This role offers a highly flexible hybrid working pattern, with travel to the office in either Norwich or Peterborough once per week or more if you wish.
The salary is paying £48,500 - £50,000 per annum and is a fixed-term contract with no day rate available.

You will be instrumental in the delivery of key ERP aspects that will have a large impact on various departments and the wider organisation, and there may be opportunity in the future for contract extensions or more long-term opportunities.
