Your new role

In this role, you will contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective IT Support Service. You will establish a good rapport and working relationship with key IT contacts, ensure the high availability of computer hardware resources across all offices, and assist the firm in achieving its overall objectives, including client care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support and repair services for all desktop PCs and laptops across all offices.
  • Assist with the selection of standard equipment purchasing lines.
  • Configure and manage PC stock.
  • Maintain stocks of spares at each office in conjunction with the local Office Support Coordinator.
  • Configure and manage mobile devices.
  • Configure and manage desk phones.
  • Provide 2nd line support for PC, laptop, telephone, mobile, and printer-related issues.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of the firm’s local area networks as required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Knowledge and experience of the technical aspects of desktop PCs, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products would be an advantage.
  • A driving licence and access to your own vehicle to enable travel to the various offices that need to be supported (essential).
  • A strong team player with the ability to form working relationships with partners and staff.
  • Well-organised and practical with a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new systems.
