Probate/private client CILEx lawyer/solicitor sought by a busy Sheffield practice. Hybrid & negotiable salary!
I am instructed with an excellent role for confident and experienced probate/private client legal executives & solicitors located within commutable distance of Sheffield. My client is one of the leading and most recognised legal practice firm in the North of England with a full service offering.
This role would be suitable for lawyers who can demonstrate a good level of previous probate/private client work and as such I am keen to speak with lawyers with anywhere up to 4PQE and beyond (although my client may be prepared to look slightly higher or lower than this for an exceptional candidate with quality experience). This is a hybrid role, but candidates will need to live within commutable distance of Sheffield as the role will require some office attendance (particulars can be discussed further upon receipt of an application).
The successful candidate will be expected to be involved with the following (the below is not an exhaustive list):
- Handling complex and high-value work relating to asset protection, succession issues and the use of trusts (anyone with capital tax planning experience will be of particular interest),
- Familiarisation with regulatory/compliance criteria for trusts and associated entities;
- Drafting key documentation associated with private client/probate law (wills/POA/trusts/deeds of appointment etc.)
- Undertaking a wide range of duties in relation to estate administration with a particular emphasis on high value estates which may include agricultural and business property;
- When required, being present at meetings with various interested parties;
- Offering advice on and drafting full estate accounts in addition to calculating tax liabilities related to inheritance; and
- Providing bespoke advice on various deeds and other estate tax matters.
