Hays are looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join an exciting financial services business based out of Manchester City Centre. This is a 12-month fixed-term role covering maternity leave with the possibility to be made permanent after completion.

You will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant and;

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts; accruals, pre-payments and journals.

Provide support to the finance team

Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Analyse financial data and provide insights

Ensure compliance with financial regulations

You will have:

2+ years of experience in management accounting

AAT Technician level qualification (NVQ4) or equivalent

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
