Responsibilities
Requirements
This role is an initial 12-month contract paying the hourly equivalent to £23,400 pa. There is a possibility to go permanent upon completion.
- Ensure that the final customer product is correctly packaged and labelled.
- Perform in-line Quality Control inspections to maintain adherence to quality standards.
- Work in cleanrooms wearing PPE to minimise human DNA touchpoints.
- Operate various manual and automated equipment in the production process.
- Actively participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency or productivity, using the PPI (Practical Process Improvement) business system to consistently elevate team performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for all individuals entering production areas.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration closely, working with teams such as Engineering and Material Handling.
- Complete documentation in accordance with GDP standards.
- Some manual handling and prolonged standing may be required.
- Degree in Life Science, Engineering or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided.
- Previous experience in a Clean Room setting is advantageous.
- Must show proactive abilities and work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
