Maths Teacher - SEN School (Pupil Referral Unit)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a PRU in Oldham. This unique role requires a compassionate and adaptable individual who can inspire and support students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the individual abilities and needs of our students.
- Work closely with a supportive team of educators, therapists, and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with students, manage challenging behaviours, and foster a love for learning.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the SEN landscape.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- Additional training or certificate in SEN education is a plus.
