Hays are delighted to be working with a local Bangor based charity to join their Finance Team. This small charity strive to encourage those living with a disability or societal disadvantage to lead a sustainable and independent life – and they do this by providing a compassionate and caring approach.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work as an integral part of the Finance and Admin team to ensure effective payroll, finance and administration service to the charity.
Your main duties will fall under payroll, finance and some other general duties.
•Ensure all relevant information relating to payroll is received accurately and in timely basis for new starts
•Collate and input hours and other details i.e. training, sick leave, holidays and induction from time sheets and ensure their accurate input into Sage payroll package.
•Ensure all leavers are processed quickly and accurately
•Ensure all updates for employees are completed
•Prepare payroll reports and provide to Finance dept with good audit trail
•Upload BACS reports within time frames for bank processing
•Preparation of payslips and distribute to staff
•Process nominal ledger link with Sage accounts ensuring the transfer of all wages journals to Sage Accounts package
•Maintain holiday and sick leave records, processing of the relevant pay rate and distribute to relevant unit Managers.
What you'll need to succeed
•Educated to GCSE level
•Experience of using Sage 50 payroll
•Experience of payroll
•Working knowledge of UK PAYE
•Proficient with MS Office
•CIPP qualification would be an advantage
•Enhanced Access NI check
