Purchase Ledger clerk | 3 month temp | Haslingden | £26k
Your new company
I am working with a manufacturing company based in Haslingden, who are looking to take on a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to come and help the team on a temp to perm basis. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday is fully flexible with start and finish time and has a hybrid policy in place.
Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for the processing of purchase invoices for all areas of the business, including matching invoices to PO numbers and coding of invoices. You will set up new supplier accounts, maintain control of the ledger accounts and regularly reconcile the supplier statements. Part of your role will involve dealing with any supplier and customer queries in a timely and professional manner, whilst ensuring excellent levels of customer service. You will maintain control of the purchase ledger inbox and assist with weekly payment runs.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will have excellent IT skills and have a good understanding of nominal ledger codes. Experience of working in purchase ledger is essential, with the ability to manage high volumes of invoices with excellent communication skills. No formal qualifications required
What you'll get in return
