DE&I Sponsorship Manager


Your new company

Joining a leading insurance company in the heart of London, which provides specialist insurance services to businesses across the globe.

Your new role

You will be responsible for securing sponsorship for annual global events, raising awareness of the importance of DE&I and supporting inclusion within the workplace. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will be fostering strong relationships with sponsors, driving revenue through innovative strategy and delivering impactful communications to encourage collaboration.

Key elements of the role:

  • Creation of strategy to acquire new sponsors, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Secure up to 50 sponsors globally, meeting or exceeding financial targets.
  • Oversee the sponsorship budget, reporting into the Senior Programme Manager.
  • Develop and deliver sponsorship proposals.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial sponsorship agreements with clarity on terms, deliverables, and objectives, applying best practice in all agreements.
  • Provide exceptional support and nurture long-term relationships with sponsors as the primary point of contact, encouraging their participation in events.
  • Utilise metrics to drive insights, reporting on the performance and outcomes of sponsorships.
  • Gather and utilise feedback to improve offerings and implement necessary changes.
  • Coordinate sponsorship activations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including best utilisation of media agencies to enhance sponsorship branding opportunities.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and sector activities to uncover new opportunities for sponsorship.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven continued client engagement/ strong relationship management, fostering long-lasting relationships
  • Proven ability to raise funds/sponsors
  • Experience budget setting/reforecasting where required
  • Experience managing relationships within a large, complex organisation
  • Experience advising to senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of raising funds, sponsorship, project management, event management and corporate partnerships
  • Knowledge and understanding of contract management
