Change Management Program Manager, Contract role, up to £530 p/d, Belfast (hybrid)
We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a Change Management Program Manager to join their dynamic Operations Optimization and Enablement team, dedicated to reducing risk and enhancing capacity within Operations market tooling. The aim is to deliver transformative changes across foundational processes, aligning with their mission of simplicity and client focus. As a Program Manager, the ideal candidate will lead professional teams and departments, integrating subject matter and industry expertise to set operational standards. This role requires a deep understanding of how various areas integrate within the sub-function and contribute to the overall objectives of the function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day execution of project milestones and budgets for one or more projects.
- Develop and ensure sign-off of project plans, charters, stakeholder management plans, acceptance plans, and central project issue logs, maintaining exemplary project hygiene.
- Adhere to company policy guidelines, ensuring all programs and projects comply with project management standards and process adherence.
- Use developed communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence colleagues and occasional external customers.
- Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and maintaining transparency in managing and reporting control issues.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years’ experience in Program Management.
- Extensive relevant experience within a financial environment.
- Experience in delivering complex risk and control-related projects, particularly in reconciliations, is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of capital markets operations.
- Basic commercial awareness.
