Permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk job - paying up to £27,000 per annum
Your new company
Hays are working with a well-known construction company in the Worcestershire area who are looking to welcome a Purchase Ledger clerk to their team due to company growth.
Your new role
- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner
- Processing Goods Received Notes against Purchase orders
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing payment runs for Purchase Ledger and Subcontractor Ledger
- Liaising with the Procurement department to resolve supplier queries
- Processing of Subcontractor payment certificates
- Running CIS Statements
- Processing of Staff Expenses
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable Role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of Excel, Bacs & Microsoft Dynamics (not essential as training will be given)
- Organised and methodical
- Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
