Purchase Ledger Clerk | Up to £28,000 | 23 days + BH | Pension | Parking on site
Your new company
Your new company is a well-established business based in Accrington, and due to a continued level of growth in the business, they are now recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a full-time, permanent basis. Your working pattern will be 37.5 hours a week, 9am-5pm Monday - Friday, with flexibility to amend your hours.
Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and you will be responsible for the smooth running of the accounts along with the rest of the team. Your day-to-day duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the daily processing of purchase invoices, processing and uploading daily direct debit payments onto customer accounts and weekly payment runs. There will be other ad-hoc tasks required as and when, so you will need to be a team player and be prepared to take on any task required of you.

What you'll need to succeed
- In order to be successful for this role, you will ideally have worked in a high-volume purchase ledger previously, or a fast-paced finance/office environment.
- You will be IT-savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- This is a very friendly work environment, so you will ideally have a chatty personality, as well as a confident telephone manner to receive and making phone calls.
- In return for this you will be offered an annual salary of up to £28,000.
