Primary Teachers needed in Chester for short and long term teaching opportunities starting in January 2025

Hays Education are currently recruiting ECT’s, and experienced primary teachers are required for day to day and long-term cover in Chester starting in January 2025.

Hays Education is currently working in partnership with schools across Chester and the West Cheshire area to support them with short and long term teaching cover.As a supply teacher in Chester, you will be working with some of the best schools in the region, covering a range of subjects and age groups. You will be expected to deliver engaging and effective lessons, follow the school’s policies and procedures, and maintain a high standard of professionalism and behaviour management.

To be eligible for supply teaching, you will need to have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
