Receptionist - Part time

Your new company

A Wholesaler Company is currently looking for a part-time receptionist to start with them in March 2025, the role is 5 days a week (Mon - Fri) with working hours from 13:00–17:00. This is a job shared with another receptionist who works the morning shift. The Wholesaler Company prides itself on strong values and a supportive culture. Your new role

  • Greeting visitors
  • Answering and dealing with incoming phone calls
  • Performing filing and administration duties
  • Preparing meeting rooms before events
  • Handling any other ad hoc duties is required to ensure the smooth running of the business
  • Assisting colleagues in finance and property during quieter periods at the reception desk
  • Keeping busy with various tasks as needed

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience in a receptionist role to handle the responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with visitors and colleagues.
  • Ability to build rapport with colleagues and visitors, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like Word, Excel, and Outlook for administrative tasks.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
  • Precision in handling administrative duties and managing schedules.
  • Flexibility to assist other departments during quieter periods and take on various tasks as needed.
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations and find solutions quickly.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanour at all times, especially when dealing with high volumes of sales calls.
  • Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and support the smooth running of the business.
