HR Generalist needed for a software firm in London. Fully remote

Your new company
You will be working for a global software company based in Central London.

This role will operate on a remote basis with occasional travel to London.

Your new role
You will be working as a Temporary Senior HR Generalist for an initial 3-6 month period however there is potential for this role to become permanent.

Some duties will include:

Talent Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of UK employment laws and company policies
  • Support performance review cycles, including goal-setting, feedback collection, and calibrations.
  • Partner with managers to facilitate constructive performance discussions and develop actionable development plans.
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee core HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, absence management, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals and UK employment laws.
  • Maintain and update employee records in Rippling (HRIS) and other systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for various roles, with a strong focus across functional expertise (Sales, CS, Engineering, Product, G&A).
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates through various channels, including social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand hiring needs, develop job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining timely communication and providing an excellent candidate experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure our recruitment strategies are competitive and effective.
  • Conduct comprehensive new hire onboarding to ensure seamless integration into the company.
HR Programs & Initiatives
  • Collaborate on People initiatives, including employee engagement, and learning and development.
  • Coordinate logistics for UK people programs, such as training sessions, workshops, and team events.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders visiting the office.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will have 5+ years' experience in a HR Generalist role.

Ideally you will have a mixed background of a global matrixed company and a SME.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an hourly rate based on an annual salary of between £50,000 - £60,000
