Your new role:
This role requires previous experience in a secondary school and experience working within a SEND setting as you will be assisting a child with an EHCP on a one-to-one basis. The school is looking for an experienced, strong-willed individual to join their staff and school. Your responsibilities will include being this individual’s key person whilst also carrying out wider aspects of the role further within the school. Your duties as a SEND Teaching Assistant in this BS35 school will include, but are not limited to, administrative tasks, classroom support and extracurricular involvement once you are settled within the school.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
- Teaching Assistant experience within the last two years
- Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
- Previous experience with children (KS3/4) is desirable
