Your new company

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading institution committed to maintaining and enhancing its campus facilities. The Facilities Management team plays a crucial role in ensuring the electrical assets of the estate are maintained to high standards.

Your new role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical maintenance, infrastructure, and minor projects. Your duties will include designing electrical specifications, preparing tender documents, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also coordinate project maintenance activities and manage both revenue and capital expenditure planned maintenance activities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in electrical services repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to design electrical installations and produce tender documentation.
  • Competence in high and low voltage electrical installation design.
  • Experience in managing people and leading a technical team.
  • IT literacy, including familiarity with Excel, Word, and hand-held tablets.
  • A recognised City & Guilds Qualification in Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship and a minimum HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
