Senior Quantity Surveyor role at specialist joinery contractor in London with £65k-£75k salary and benefits.

Your new company

Join a leading contractor in the UK construction market, known for providing bespoke joinery solutions for commercial, residential, and specialist projects. This fast-growing joinery and interior fit-out company is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Your new role

Based out of the London Office, you will manage the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring cost control and efficient budget management. Your responsibilities will include working closely with project directors and managers, building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, and preparing and managing subcontractor and supplier accounts. You will also be responsible for submitting monthly valuations and producing cashflow forecasts.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent numeracy skills and IT competencies, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Practical knowledge of quantity surveying procedures and strong commercial awareness.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required.

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
