**Working Foreperson Required for South Belfast Refurbishment Scheme**

Hays Construction are pleased to be working with a growing client who have made their mark on the NI construction industry over the past year. Originating in Co. Tyrone, this firm are enduring a period of growth, securing works with key clients in the healthcare, commercial, retail and residential sectors and earning healthy levels of repeat business. This company can call upon a management team of 25+ years’ experience within the Fit-Out industry, across the UK, Ireland and further afield. This company provides expert interior solutions, combining a deep understanding of interior design, joinery and good eye-for-detail to meet and exceed client expectations.


Your new role

Closing off 2024 in good health, the company orderbook is filling up impressively for the coming year with several projects due to commence in Quarter 1. They will be imminently commencing an 8-10 week refurbishment scheme in South Belfast for a key client in the healthcare sector, and as a result, require the services of an experienced Working Foreperson to oversee the project. Your role will involve the supervision & organisation of site teams to ensure the smooth running of projects to the quality required from the client and to the highest standards of health and safety. You will be responsible for the completion of assigned tasks, co-ordinating all available resources effectively and safely, ensuring the workload is completed within schedule. This will initially be a temporary role with potential for long-term permanent employment.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of successful delivery of fit-out packages or refurbishment schemes, with previous experience preferably within the commercial, retail & hospitality sectors. You will be a strong communicator as you will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing operations on site to ensure the delivery of this project is on time and to a high standard – the successful delivery of this project will possibly lead to a permanent position following on from the completion of the initial scheme. You must hold a valid CSR (Site Supervisor), CSCS or SMSTS qualification. You must be technically proficient and knowledgeable of joinery or refurbishment works.
