Excellent hybrid compliance role in UK national law firm. Legal experience (law firm/in-house) is preferred!
One of the largest law firms in the United Kingdom has an opening within their in-house team for an experienced regulatory advisor (either a qualified solicitor or an experienced compliance professional with equivalent qualifications) within any of their offices, with a preference for any candidates who might be based within the Leeds / Sheffield / Newcastle areas.
In this hybrid working role which will only require one day a week in the nearest local office (further ad hoc travel may be required for team meetings in other locations but will not be a regular occurrence), the successful candidate will work as an integral part of the team in providing advice and working towards solutions that ensures the business is compliant with its regulatory and legal obligations. This role will involve direct engagement with various stakeholders across multiple levels, including maintaining a very close working relationship with the Head of Regulatory, who will offer guidance and occasional supervision as and when required.
Although this position is open to qualified solicitors, applicants do not need to be legally qualified as long as they can demonstrate a high level of experience when it comes to handling compliance matters. Candidates who have experience in such a role within the remit of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority would be of particular interest to my client, so if candidates have worked in a compliance role within the confines of a law firm / as part of an in-house legal team then any applications from such candidates will be particularly well received.
My client will consider candidates with a salary expectation of £50,000 per annum for this role and along with the excellent hybrid/remote working arrangement which accompanies this role there are a number of great benefits which can be discussed in further detail on receipt of an application.
