Essential qualifications: PGCE/PGDE in Modern Foreign Languages (UK QTS)

Job Description:

Hays Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Spanish and German for a long-term, part-time position (2 days per week) at a reputable school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and dynamic team, committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Spanish and German to students of varying abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for language learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish and German at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
