Location: North Manchester
Salary: Up to £20 per hour (via umbrella)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Duration: Ongoing for up to 6 months
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scheme Manager to join our team in North Manchester. This role involves managing a sheltered housing scheme, ensuring the well-being and safety of residents, and maintaining the smooth operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the sheltered housing scheme.
- Provide support and assistance to residents, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Ensure the scheme complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors as necessary.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a sheltered housing or social care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.
