English Teacher - Full-time Birmingham

Location: North Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: £120-£180 per day. Dependent on experience.

The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for literature and language, and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Support the school’s ethos and values.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • DBS
  • A degree in English or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young people
