We are working with a leading mental health charity in the South West offering housing, support, and hope to thousands of people with mental health and other support needs.
The Role
The aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our Supported Housing service. Working in a psychologically, adversity, and trauma-informed way, this includes:
- Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
- Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
- Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
- Maintaining detailed case notes
- Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
- Helping clients to maximise their income
- Championing hope and courage
- Responding to incidents and ensuring diligent reporting
- Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients
