How can I apply?
Once you have found a suitable position, the best and quickest way to apply is to use the "Apply now" button against your role of choice. Alternatively, you can also send an unsolicited application by mail to talentacquisitionuk&i@hays.com.
What happens after I send my application?
After you have sent your application, you’ll receive a confirmation of receipt within 24 hours where you will be asked to complete a candidate application form. We will then review your documents and get back to you as soon as possible.
When can I expect to hear back after receiving the confirmation of receipt?
After receiving the confirmation of receipt, it usually only takes a couple days for us to get back to you. From time to time, due to the volume of applications, this can take longer, and we encourage you to call us directly to discuss your interest in Hays.
How does the selection process work and how can I prepare?
Once we have received a positive impression of your application, we will contact you for an initial telephone interview. If this is also positive, we will usually invite you to a more formal meeting followed by one or two personal interviews, together with the relevant department for a job interview in our offices. You can find tips on how to prepare here.
What is Hays' position on diversity?
As a modern company whose business model is shaping the working world of tomorrow, it’s imperative that we act as an example and promote diversity in all its facets. You can find more information about our commitment to diversity here. As part of your application process, you’ll be asked to complete an applicant diversity questionnaire – this is strictly confidential and plays no part in our decision whether to hire you, but helps us foster diverse and inclusive workplaces.
What are the opportunities for further training?
We offer you countless development opportunities, fostering a continuous learning culture to keep your skills sharp and services in-demand. Supported by our digital tools, learning partners, and expert mentors, you’ll have access to a range of internal and external upskilling prospects, which you can find out more about here.
Can I reapply after an unsuccessful application?
Yes – although we may have decided to hire someone else at a certain point in the application process, this doesn't mean there isn't a suitable position for you at Hays. You are welcome to reapply at a later date.
