Tech leadership executives can be generously renumerated. For example, a head of IT could earn £70,000-£115,000 a year when working in London. For a CIO at a FTSE 100, you could be looking at a typical salary of £160,000-£250,000, while CTOs working for an equivalent enterprise could earn £130,000-£200,000.
