HR TECHNOLOGY JOBS FAQs

HR technology (or HR tech) refers to the software and hardware used to automate many essential HR functions, helping to streamline tasks with the added benefit of precision and accuracy that only technology provides. It can assist with communications, recruitment, talent management and many types of administrative tasks.

People in HR technology roles support and sometimes gather data from the systems used for HR functions such as pay, rewards, benefits, employee communications, talent management, recruitment and onboarding and performance management. This might involve using AI tools and cloud-based technology.

The national average salary for a HR technology role in the UK is £36,720. However, this can vary significantly depending on the seniority of the position, with head of HR technology positions paying an average of £87,000.
