There are plenty of opportunities for career growth in QA, and those with the right qualifications, knowledge and skills can go far.

While career paths will vary for different people, you might start off your career as a QA officer and work your way to a QA auditor or managerial position with five or more years of experience. With over ten years of experience, you could become a highly knowledgeable qualified person, or even a head/director of quality with strategic oversight.

As a QA professional, you might work for pharma companies, regulatory consultancies, emerging biopharmas and biotechs, contract and clinical research organisations, and other employers requiring experts to oversee a technical product’s lifecycle.
